Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children is well recognized as Hawai‘i’s leader in care for women and children. Kapi‘olani is the only hospital in Hawai‘i specializing in maternity and newborn care. The Financial Counselor coordinates patient’s financial responsibilities from pre-admission through discharge. Our team provides assistance in identifying and organizing financial resources required to cover estimated charges not covered by health plan, insurance, or other sources.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training & experience.  Two (2) years social services related experience: medicaid worker, healthcare financial counselor, advocate, or social services paraprofessional.
