Job Description:
Essential Job Functions: Performs sustainment engineering studies in the areas of obsolescence management for military electronic systems, subsystems and components. Develops sustainment predictions; provides engineering recommendations for redesigns, technology insertions, and technology refreshes; researches electronic component vendor and technical data; recommends cost effective sustainment solutions; and reviews program plans in order to align sustainment strategies. The candidate will be responsible for attending system working group meetings, and developing/maintaining program plans in reference to Obsolescence Management.
Requirements Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineExperience: At least 5 years of experience in the sustainment engineering fieldSpecial Skills: Ability to manage multiple programs; practical knowledge and skills in the use of reliability engineering, including the ability to analyze process issues, identify constraints, and develop recommendations for improvements. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project).Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.**US Citizenship Required**
