Description A major institutional investment bank in Downtown Sacramento has a need for an experienced financial data analyst to assit a project expected to go to the end of the year.
The overall responsibility of the groups within the department is to perform Corporate Action processing for both Domestic and Global markets, which includes: monitoring for and identifying market events, establishing entitled clients, preparing client notifications, coordinating of client responses, posting corporate actions entitlements, reconciling positions, identify and resolve exposure, research and resolve past due entitlements, middle office support and daily and monthly reporting.

The various responsibilities of the Corporate Action Unit include the following:

1. Research and review more complex corporate action events utilizing the database system. Work with vendor feeds, agents, and companies to confirm rates, dates, and terms of the offer.
2. Identify eligible holders and prepare notification pertaining to complex corporate market events for approval.
3. Solicit and update client's responses to database system.
4. Monitor voluntary responses, and execute client elections by instructing
