We are searching for a key solution provider that will support and proactively drive business for our winning public sector team. This involves, but is not limited to: client contacts, order processing, report generation and overall sales support for the team and the team’s clients. Pre-sales support functions include: pre-qualification of accounts, product pricing, research, configuration and product information.
Respond to incoming client calls and emails. Make outgoing client calls in support of the organization’s sales requirements. Prepare and submit client sales quotes. Enter client sales orders accurately into the appropriate order entry system. Research technical information on product requests, and ensure access to procuring. Communicate with other Insight departments on client issues, and assist in resolution where applicable. Work open sales order report. Process RMA’s for clients. Report generation for clients. Prepare bids and proposals for clients. Assist clients with their web accounts with Insight. Request and/or set up new client sold-to’s, bill-to’s, and ship-to’s as needed. Work on administrative and operational issues for clients. Provide administrative support to department, when needed. Work on special projects for clients and sales force, when needed. Attend Company, vendor, and publisher trainings and webinars, as directed. Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Additional duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience selling computer technology with a track record of having consistently exceeded sales goals preferred. Strong knowledge of IT products and services is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, other teammates needed. Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills required. Solid problem solving and consultative skills a must. Must be self driven, motivated and results-oriented. Able to build relationships and quickly develop trust with clients, as well as internal personnel, needed. Must be able to solve problems thoroughly and work well under pressure. Must be able to adhere to tight service level agreements (SLAs) and be able to multi-task effectively.
