Description The Acoustics Specialist will conducts analysis of gas turbine engine systems to assess compliance with noise limits due to regulatory requirements and contract guarantees. They will interacts with global Rolls-Royce sites, customers, and government agencies in development of noise limits and noise reduction technology plans; plans, manages, and executes technology programs, both experimental and analytical, required to meet product noise goals and reduce project risk at Indianapolis site.

There is assistance available for relocation.
Requirements Basic:

Bachelors degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 5 years of experience working in the area of gas turbine engine noise reduction or Masters degree with 3 years of experience. Travel required up to 25%. Ability to obtain a US security clearance at the secret level is required.



Preferred:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both individually and in small teams.
