Role Summary/Purpose
The Industry Manager - Energy will set and implement global strategies for Energy market segments, from Transmission and Distribution to Power Generation, including renewables.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Define GEFIP overall Energy served available market (SAM) and develop a GEFIP value prop for goods & solutions
  • Responsible for delivering revenue to meet growth projections for Energy segments, and implementing demand generation activities to build the opportunity pipeline
  • Develop sales training and customer facing materials to support demand

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or minimum 2 years industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience (sales, marketing, product management or application engineering) in utilities, renewable operator or supplier to these industries

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Desired Characteristics
  • Extensive knowledge of the Energy market
  • Knowledge of Utility and Enterprise Software Solutions, Collaborative Commerce Solutions, and/or GE Fanuc products & solutions
  • Requires a combination of technical knowledge and corporate level business understanding in the Energy market and specifically related to Smart Grid technology and implementations.
  • Requires a strong knowledge and experience within Utilities from Power Generation including renewables through AMI.
  • Ability to influence others
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and deliver tactical execution
  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience within the Energy Market
  • At least 5 years Utility solutions sales experience or Utility key account project management
  • Working experience with major Utilities and/or GE Energy
  • Experience working cross functionally
