ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST



Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking an
individual to fill the position of Accounting Specialist.

 


Basic Functions:
Assist Manager of Accounting Programs with organizing, directing and controlling the collection, summarization and
interpretation of the Corporations financial data. Responsible for all Accounts
Receivable input by insuring all data is placed into invoices in a clear and correct manner. Responsible for all Daily Cash
Reports from the Retail Store Locations are reported correctly by insuring sales ledgers, register tapes versus daily sales reports, retail store deposits, etc. are done properly and approved by Manager,
Accounting Programs. Assist when needed in all areas of Accounting, e.g., balancing bank statements, accounts payable, etc.



Minimum qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Three to five years effective experience in progressively responsible accounting and administrative fields. Must possess a valid Drivers
License and be insurable through the
employers General Insurance Carrier.
