DESCRIPTION:
The HRIS Analyst, Production Support has responsibility for addressing HR user application support issues (one face to the customer), driving system utilization, performing system testing, and completing system documentation. Systems include SAP, non-SAP, and third party applications or solutions. The Production Support team drives adoption of global standard HR processes supported by global standard SAP solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 35% - Drive operational system utilization by resolving or assigning HR and payroll user application support issues. This role is the liaison between BIS and the business and escalates urgent issues as defined.
- 35% - Create change requests and direct BIS support staff on HR system configuration changes to support the business needs. This includes changes to comply with legal and regulatory changes as well as system related business process improvements.
- 15% - Complete functional testing by preparing test scripts and leading testing teams with HR users for configuration changes, service pack installations, and system upgrades.
- Through training, documentation, and communication, ensure HR users understand and comply with global standard HR processes, system usage and benefits, data standards. Partner with Learning to deliver end user training.
10%:
- Advocate with HR management to use SAP � e.g. Geographic VP mandates salary reports will be generated from SAP.
- Participate in defining HR data standards.
- Be an advocate for global processes supported by global standard SAP solutions.
- Test business continuity plan annually.
- Assist with acquisition, merger, or realignment activity for HR functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years technical experience in HR, Payroll, or HRIS
- SAP experience REQUIRED
- 2+ years Human Resources experience
PREFERRED
- Associates degree, BA or BS Degree, Computer or Technical Field preferred
- Relevant technical certifications
