Volt Workforce Solutions, a Fortune 1000 staffing corporation with high-volume business in the United States and Europe, is searching for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for a large Manufacturing company in Raleigh, NC.

Position Overview:

Specifically, we are currently hiring for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to manage the production of design packages for industrial and institutional facilities. Candidates must be actively PE-registered.

For more than 30 years, Our Client has been successfully delivering capital projects in the automotive, pharmaceutical/biotech, process chemical, manufacturing, energy, and pulp and paper markets worldwide. This Company is in the Business of Project Delivery - i.e., integrating overall project planning, design and construction to create cost-effective capital solutions.

This is a Contract to Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Raleigh, NC. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Southeast.

Required Skills for this Lead Mechanical Engineer position include the following:

• 10+ years of experience with HVAC and Utility Design
  
• Experience supervising Design professionals and preparing scope and man-hour estimates for proposals
  
• Familiarity with the following desired:


• Biotech and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
  
• Clean Room Design
  
• Industrial Ventilation
  
• Equipment Specifications
  
• Construction Bid Documents
  
• Plumbing
  
• AutoCAD




• Must have professional presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop client relationships and mentor Junior Design staff
