We have positions located in Hebron, Kentucky and North Clarendon, Vermont.

Skills Required

•3-5 years in a thermal spray environment working with costing and part flow
•Analytical, detailed and organized
•Experience working within manufacturing systems for information management
•Knowledge of tooling and good mechanical ability
•Read and understand blue prints and coating specifications
•Good communication skills and team orientation
•Ability to lead / facilitate team problem solving
•Positive approach to changing objectives and priorities

General Responsibilities

•Develop cost estimates, within the committed timeframes, for all new customer part requests
•Ensure that all development costs are considered and covered by the estimate process
•Gather and evaluate the accuracy and usefulness of all necessary supporting documents from the customer and the Sales team
•Study drawings, specifications and all relevant documents for the purpose of establishing a process concept. Collaborate with other technical resources and review similar past applications where applicable.
•Lay out the steps for completing each new part or project estimate and in doing so account for all required resources, including labor, materials and processing time
•Identify where tooling will be needed and coordinate procurement with the tooling design resources
•Generate and ensure the accuracy of the General Estimate Worksheets by using the appropriate systems
•Communicate the Worksheets to Sales for development of the quote to the customer.
•Complete the entry of standard process times and other required information in the appropriate system so that the correct records travel with the job folder
