Kelly Services Inc. has an opening in the Olive Branch MS area for a maintenance mechanic. This position is resume and interview driven. Candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below and must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up, adjust, maintain all machinery and equipment necessary for production and plant facility.
2. Set up lines for scheduled production.
3. Notify maintenance manager of any problems or potential problems with equipment.
4. Analyze mechanical problems on assigned equipment and take corrective action to meet production standards to keep plant facility functioning.
5. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
6. Work with maintenance manager to compile a log for proper line set ups.
7. Keep work area clean.
8. Study and recommend changes in machinery set up and related areas to improve efficiency.
9. Notify maintenance manager of supplies and parts needed.
10. Respond immediately to lead people when production line is down and in need of maintenance support.
11. Study machinery manuals to learn as much as possible about equipment.
