We are currently seeking an Electronic Technician for WesDyne International, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company Global Field Services. Based out of Madison, PA at our Waltz Mill facility, WesDyne International specializes in the development and application of advanced non-destructive examination inspection equipment, and services for reactor vessel, turbine generator and related systems.

In this position, the Electronic Technician will prepare systems for deployment and operate systems at Customer Nuclear Facilities. The technician peak travel is during power plant outages in the spring and the fall to inspect nuclear reactor components. As part of a field service team of Project Managers, Shift Supervisors, Technicians, and Specialists, your role is to assemble, troubleshoot and repair equipment for optimum performance during reactor component inspections.

There is assistance available for relocation.
Requirements Specific knowledge and training in electrical and electronic curriculum is required.

The successful candidate will be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:

  • Electronic and electrical assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting,
  • Prior Nuclear Facility work experience desired,
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work instructions,
  • Capable of working in a team environment and extended work hours when necessary,
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Unescorted Site Access.
