Description KELLEY'S LOUISIANA Landscaping, Inc. is now hiring 8 temporary landscape laborers (02/15/2010-

12/15/2010) to work in various worksites in Rapides Parish. Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning

saws. Use hand tools

such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush

trimmers, and axes.

Mow and edge/trim lawns, using power mowers and edgers.

Care for established lawns by mulching,

aerating, weeding,

grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging

around flower beds, walks, and walls. Water lawns, trees, and plants. Lay sod. Haul or spread topsoil and straw. Trim and pick flowers, and clean

flower beds. Rake,

mulch, and compost

leaves. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and

hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain

saws. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass,

shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking

lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, and other grounds fea-

tures. Maintain irrigation systems. Must lift & carry 30lbs. $7.25 per hour. 50 hrs/wk, 7a-5p. Some Saturday work required. Work is in adverse weather. Daily transportation provided from office to
