Description As Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the on-site Pharmacist in various duties related to filling/dispensing of prescription medications including but not limited to reading and interpreting prescriptions, preparing prescriptions for dispensing Pharmacists in accordance with quality, productivity, and regulatory standards of performance. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, you will provide support functions to include data entry, retrieval of drug product, filling of prescription, inventory management, ordering and stocking OTC products and general pharmacy clerical duties. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe work environment is essential. This position is for approximately 30 hours per week. Center hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
Requirements To qualify for this position, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience. Must have demonstrated experience of providing exceptional customer service and being detail oriented. Certification preferred.
