Description Volt Technical Resources is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an immediate open position in the Folsom area. Successful candidates will have experience in the Accounts Payable field in the Telecom arena.

As a Telecom Billing Analyst the candidate will support Wide Area Network (WAN) managing carrier invoices for the America's and European regions.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Validating rates to contract to include billing anomaly detection utilizing our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) tool

Identifying and logging disputes with vendors

Authorize invoices for payment

Drive / Track cost savings

Monitor add, move, change, disconnect activity

Maintain cost saving tracking tool

Assists with reporting, budget and monthly close process for the management team

Requirements Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of work experience in telecommunications expense management, carrier billing methods and telecom infrastructure.

Minimum of 1 year of A/P principles in support of account reconciliation activities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & Access.

Professional Qualifications:

Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Able to understand and manage to the terms and conditions of carrier contracts

Experience working with European vendors a plus.

Candidate will be asked to consent to a pre-employment criminal background screen and drug screen.
