Job Summary
The Respiratory Supervisor provides concurrent evaluations for patient's receiving respiratory services. Performs rounds daily with physicians to coordinate respiratory care to meet patient outcomes and goals. At the discretion of the Supervisor/RT Management, assist with special procedures and patient transports.
Job tasks also include:
1. Participates in interdisciplinary ICU and trauma rounds.
2. Performs patient evaluations within 24 hours of therapy initiation. Reassesses patients for ongoing therapy every 72 hours.
3. Performs interdisciplinary patient care plans.
4. Actively communicates with physicians when a patient does not meet therapeutic criteria to address utilization issues.
5. Comprehensively reports to Respiratory management the timely and effective delivery of inpatient care.
6. At the discretion of the Shift Lead/ Supervisor, may assist with special procedures and transports.

Requirements
- Current FLorida RN License
- BLS, ACLS PALS and NRP
- 3-5 years of Level III Neonatal Experience Required
- Prefer prior experience in the field of Respiratory Therapy in an acute care hospital.
- Strong assessment skills
