Job Summary:
Under limited direction, underwrites and analyzes new and renewal business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manuals. Works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community. Develops/maintains agency and/or broker relationships. Will be responsible for 3-4 audits annually requiring 1 week travel for each audit. Additional travel for meetings with Program Administrators. Total travel approx 20%.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience

5 or more years of insurance industry experience with Lawyers Professional Liability in an underwriting or claims function.
Will also consider practicing attorney experience with an insurance focus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to and enjoy working in a fast pace environment.
