Semiconductor Fab Integration Engineer

Agilent Technologies, the world's premier measurement company, has an opening for a Semiconductor Fab Integration Engineer at the High Frequency Technology Center in Santa Rosa, California.The specific job responsibilities will include the development and sustaining of custom, cutting edge, micro and nano-fabrication technologies for high performance microwave and millimeter-wave applications. The technologies include InP and GaAs-based HBT, HEMT, MEMS and other electronic components which determine the key competitive specifications enabling industry-leading RF, microwave and high bit rate instruments.The Integration Engineer works closely with material, circuit design and other process and device engineers to define process and device performance targets, define process flows, develop and improve unit processes, design and characterize new devices and components, and develop new fabrication processes and vehicle circuits. Project objectives will encompass performance, reliability and manufacturing goals. Requirements M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.Experience with advanced semiconductor and/or MEMS processes and devices is essential and specific skills in III-V device physics and processing are highly desirable. Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments is desired.Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter-group and intra-group interactions.US Citizenship/Permanent Resident status is recommended, but applications from highly qualified candidates requiring work sponsorship will also be considered.Candidates requiring work sponsorship must be eligible for access to export controlled electronics technology.Geo Location: Santa Rosa, CA
