The Upstream Segment Product Manager will be responsible for identifying, managing and delivering the marketing support and product portfolio required to accelerate the growth of the Upstream Products Business Segment that is in alignment with the business plan for that business unit. The Upstream Market Segment’s business involves products and additives for the Oilfield, Refinery and Fuel markets.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in market and customer analyses, business planning, and project management
  • Assist in promoting the existing product portfolio and leveraging it into new applications
  • Work with the Upstream Products Business Manager and internal colleagues (marketing and sales) to identify and develop effective promotional sales and collateral marketing pieces
  • Coordinate marketing activities and plans both domestically and internationally to ensure consistent, effective communication
  • Support existing products and assist in developing the product launch, marketing plan
  • Participate in or lead New Product Development teams, and provide market insight and analytical support
  • Provide analysis and interpretation of scientific and other data into commercial applications and in “consumer friendly language”

    SALARY RANGE: $55,000 TO $ 86,500, depending upon education and experience
    BONUS ELIGIBLE
    DOMESTIC RELOCATION AVAILABLE
  • Requirements SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in Chemistry or Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years chemical or refining industry experience
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Creative, with a desire to refine commercial skills
  • Tremendous ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Capability to identify an opportunity, design a plan of attack, and execute the plan

    CONSIDERED A PLUS:

  • More than 2 years experience working in Fuels or Refinery Sector
  • MBA
  • Foreign Language and/or International Experience
