Requirements Menorah Medical Center has an immediate opening for the Director of the EmergencyServices Department.  This highly visible position reports directly to the Chief NursingOfficer. The responsibilities include providing leadership and direction to achieve themission and strategies for the Emergency Department and Menorah.  The director will berequired to develop and implement policies and procedures, manage emergencypreparedness for the hospital, manage core staffing and budget and create growth initiativesfor the department.  The director will build and maintain solid working relationships whileenhancing communication with all departments and doctors.  Providing orientation, in-service training, and continuing education as needed in the departments is also required.  Asthe leader of the department the director will continually assess and improve thedepartment's performance and maintain appropriate quality control programs.    Thedirector will lead by example, valuing staff and assessing needs for superior patient care.
