Sales Rep - Building Materials

The Building Products division of Sales Consultants of Grand Rapids is a highly specialized team of professionals dedicated to working with organizations within the residential and commercial building products industry. We specialize in working with sales and marketing professionals from field level to the executive echelon.  Our client base spans multibillion dollar national corporations to regional and local organizations.  Our goal is to build a partnership with our clients and candidates to maximize their success.

Our client is a national building materials manufacturer that has an opening in the Chicago market.  They are seeking a sales rep with experience in selling building materials to builders and contractors OR someone with experience working for a building materials manufacturer calling on accounts such as Home Depot or Lowes. Position will be responsible for selling product to contractors, as well as store purchasing agents in store channels. Will educate store associates and ensure proper mechandising to increase sales. Must have knowledge of the construction process and Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
