Job Description:
EG&G Technical Services Inc. (a Division of URS Corp), has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer experienced in UAS flight operations. You will join a team that provides program, engineering and technical support to PMA-262 Program and the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance – Demonstrator (BAMS-D) flight operations, assigned exercises and/or experiments. You will work in UAS flight operations, scheduling, airspace integration and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) development; participate as a BAMS-D crew member to include but not limited to Mission Commander, Tactical Coordinator, Sensor Operator, Liaison Officer (LNO), TAGS Database Manager, etc. Assist in Airspace Integration activities,for BAMS-D airspace access; develop documentation for Certificates of Authorization (COA), Letters of Agreements (LOA), and Memorandums of Understanding, etc.'hjlsi06”
Requirements Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific field and Five to Seven years of technical job related experience. Requires UAS Operational hands-on experience (flight operations, scheduling, airspace integration and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) development, etc.) Requires the ability to work with government and contractor personnel; experience in DOD / Navy aviation related programs, systems engineering / integration.Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Must be self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented. Candidate must have the ability to clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing and be well versed in MS Office. Some experience in technical writing and editing is a plus. MUST be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass/maintain a Secret clearance. Active clearance is preferred.
