Position Description: 
Positions in this function maintain time accounting data records, monitor time reporting processes and administer time accounting system. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs data reconciliations
• Analyses/maintains data records for financial close, in accordance GAAP and cost accounting standards
• Analyzes/prepares time accounting statements
• Involved in the monthly/quarterly "close" process
• Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits

Requirements Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience is required
• At least 2 plus years of relevant financial analysis experience is required
• Strong MS Excel skills are required
• Time reporting application experience is required. (i.e., PlanView, Time Site, PeopleSoft)
• Time reporting in a Government contract environment is preferred
• Experience with automated General Ledger systems is preferred (i.e., PeopleSoft, Oracle)
• Demonstrated complex problem solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions
• Cost accounting experience for government contracts and/or familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) is preferred
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently, flexible self-starter and results oriented
