IT Auditor

Description Classification: Interim/Project

Compensation: $35 to $70 per hour

We are seeking senior level accounting or finance professionals for positions as IT Auditors utilizing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Information Technology General Computer Controls (GCC) auditing & compliance. We have publicly held clients in need of IT Auditors who can assist their efforts to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements. Our clients seek IT Auditors to work with GCC areas and Risk Control Matrices (RCM), and also be involved with documentation, testing, and remediation execution. Requirements As an ideal candidate for this IT Auditor role, the following is required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Three or more years internal audit or Big-4 / regional public accounting experience; familiarity with COBiT standards and usage of flow-charting software tools such as Visio; A Masters degree in Information Technology, along with a CISA and / or CISSP accreditation, is highly preferred. You must be willing to travel throughout the Upstate NY region.
