Description Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI) was created for the purpose of promoting the economic development and long-term financial viability of the Chickasaw Nation.

SUMMARY
The Pharmacist shall furnish all labor, management, teaching, consultations and reports. Responsible for covering the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken.

Assists in procurement, storage, manufacture, distribution, control and evaluation of drugs and ensuring quality drugs are available for patients in the proper quantity at the correct time.

Formulates specifications for the quality and source of all drugs procured for the pharmacy.

Supervises filling, labeling, and dispensing of all drug orders.

Inspects stock supplies of drugs on all services at the pharmacy.

Maintains an approved stock of antidotes and other emergency drugs.

Oversees the manufacturing of bulk-compounded preparation if the procurement form commercial sources are not possible or advantageous to the Air Force.

Oversee the operation of the intravenous admixture program.

Oversees the unit dose drug distribution systems.

Maintains patient drug profiles for inpatients as well as outpatients when feasible.

Perform medication reconciliation and patient counseling as determined by the Pharmacy FL/CC

Establishes a central repository of drug information.

Communicates essential drug information to patients, and health care personnel.

Acts as consultant regarding drugs for the health care staff.

Instructs health care personnel in pharmacy matters.

Prepares all documentation to meet or exceed established standards of the 96 MDG and HMTF to include but not limited to:
timeliness, legibility, accuracy, content, and signature.

Serves in an advisory and teaching capacity.
Provides training to staff in pharmacy related topics as directed by the Pharmacy FL/CC.

Creates, maintains, and disposes of only those government-required records, which are specifically cited.

Follows HIPPA guidelines in accordance with patient information.

Ensures contract providers under his/her supervision maintain open and professional communication with members of the facility.

Possesses knowledge of AF Government automated equipment used to process prescriptions.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor�s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers.

Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor�s Degree from an accredited college or university and eleven months pharmacy service within the past fifteen months.
Experience with Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and PharmAssist automated system to process.
Experience in an AF Pharmacy.
