Email Solutions Architect

 Description We are seeking an Email Solutions Architect for our growing Productivity and Collaboration Applications team. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter in defining reference/production architectures for messaging, messaging standards development, and messaging/collaboration technology roadmaps.Responsibilities:

Create reference architectures for messaging environments. This will include: Architecture, monitoring and capacity planning recommendation, and production support hand-off.
Define messaging standards based on business needs, technology strategy, reference architectures, current state application portfolios, and technology market trends.
Take responsibility for the messaging platform architecture and accompanying documentation in alignment with the established future state vision, architectural best practices and technology standards/policies
Work with the messaging support teams to apply standards and reference architectures to the production environment
Champion and evangelize defined technology engineering processes
Deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and on budget

 RequirementsAt least 8 years of Microsoft exchange background across all platforms 2003, 2007, 2010 

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008

Working knowledge of Microsoft SCOM

Demonstrated knowledge of Powershell.

Deep understanding of email messaging standards

Understanding of messaging security concepts

Linux administration
