Manufacturing Engineer

Global manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with strong manufacturing and machining experience. The focus would be to provide your manufacturing knowledge in the analyzing, organizing and defining of production methods and processes required to manufacture products within a CNC manufacturing environment.   • Leads strategic initiatives, with a focus on improving operational safety, reducing product cost, improving product quality and lead time.
  • Works with Division staff in developing CNC programming strategic vision, developing CNC programming automation techniques and programming methods.
  • Provides direction and input for strategic initiatives related to capital planning / equipment replacement, CNC technique development, etc.
  • Provides technical expertise in research, justification and implementation of new manufacturing technologies to minimize cost and maximize productivity and quality.
  • Supports development of standardized approaches to process selection and implementation.
  • Analyzes existing machining methods, capital equipment, fixtures and cutting tools for improvements; investigates alternatives of existing manufacturing methods, plans and implements solutions.
  • Works with a significant degree of technical independence.

 

Requirements:


  • B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of production processes and machining equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming methods and techniques.
  • Experience in design of holding fixtures, material handling devices, cutting tools and holders.
  • Strong communication and excellent customer relation skills.
