Quality Assurance Manager – AS-9100, Lean, Six Sigma, systems improvements

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. They are planning on reassigning their valued 25 year employee to another key role. We are searching for degreed candidates with AS-9100 systems experience and the ability to maintain a culture of improvement and change. This position will implement and drive the quality strategy, continuously encouraging best practices and quality culture. The Quality Manager will lead and direct the implementation of systems for advanced quality planning, control and continuous improvement in accordance with corporate goals. Experience developing, maintaining, reviewing and improving quality documents, processes and procedures, lead quality audits of all procedures to ensure compliance with established quality standards, developing and quality metrics. This position interacts with cross functional teams involving operations, engineering, sales and executive associates, communicating solutions and changes to procedures. The ideal candidate will need experience implementing Lean and Kaizen projects. Six Sigma Green Belts, Black Belts and/or ASQ certifications are preferred. International standards and experience is a plus. Strong leadership skills and the ability to create change and improve is needed. Knowledge of MRP and MS Office software is preferred.
MUST HAVE: a 4 year Bachelors degree, 3 years of quality management or experience in a leadership role. Knowledge of ISO-9000 and AS-9100 quality management systems, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, analytical problem solving skills, gap analysts and a thirst for continuous improvement. We will consider seasoned candidates in the aerospace industry or sr. quality engineers with previous leadership and project management skills, ready to take their career to a new level.
