Formal Education / Training:
At least 3 years experience working within a hospital or Health Care Information Technology/Systems environment, as well as proven Project Management experience leading business office project activities using a PMO model. Four year college degree (BA/BS) and additional years of experience will be considered as a substitute. Additional project management knowledge and/or education considered a plus.
Working knowledge of the Health Care Information Systems support language, PC management software, and/or other database reporting tools and/or software required. Exposure to and knowledge of hospital financial departments operating policies and procedures, as well as a firm understanding around project management methodologies.
Equipment and Skills Training:
Familiar with computerization including PC's, CRT's, DEC hardware and connected/interfaced printers, modems and/or instrumentation. Skills include: good typing skills, organization and management of multiple projects and people in order to meet deadlines, and communication (both verbal and written) with vendors, users and department and/or hospital employees.
Familiar with office setting and all areas pertinent to the position.
Requires movement around entire hospital campus, viewing computer screens for long periods of time, attend meetings and typing.
