SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, PRODUCTION AND REVENUE

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the production and revenue accounting functions associated with Eclipse Resources’ oil and gas properties. The position requires at least five years of oil and gas industry experience and is a great opportunity to join an up and coming leader in the industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with production system setup in the company’s accounting software
2. Prepare production volume allocations
3. Reconcile production allocations to plant statements
4. Work with regulatory to ensure accurate tax and royalty filings
5. Record monthly revenues and remit royalties
6. Prepare and record monthly revenue accruals.
7. Perform monthly revenue and variance analysis
8. Lead month end revenue closing activities
9. Respond to audit and royalty owner inquiries as needed

Education and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas accounting
3. Proficiency in oil and gas accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

1. Broad exposure to production and revenue accounting
2. Strong understanding of oil and gas accounting
3. Proven ability to organize and meet monthly deadlines and goals
