Staff Accountant

Our client,a well established growing corporation, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their US Headquarters located in Addison, IL.  They are seeking an accounting professional with a minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience out of the manufacturing industry or with a CPA firm.  The Staff Accountant position will have growth potential with an attractive compensation and benefits package!

 

Job Responsibilities:

        

• Monthly/Quarterly Journal Entries & Analysis.
• Perform day-to-day general accounting activities.       
• Preparation and Review of Reconciliations.
• Monthly cash forecasts based on Accounts Receivable aging reports.   
• General ledger maintenance.
• Inventory reconciliation and adjustments.   
• Process Journal entries and accrual accounting for all rebates and commissions.    
• Prepares standard financial and ad-hoc management reports.
• Accounting Policies/Procedures preparation assistance.

 

 

The ideal Staff Accountant will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance   
• CPA a plus   
• At least 2 years of related applicable experience.
• Strong communication skills and excellent analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
