Environmental Compliance Project Manger
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Senior Compliance Manager is responsible for providing senior-level management and final (QA/QC) review on projects/proposals and identifying and developing business opportunities related to environmental compliance, construction management, and health & safety compliance activities. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Compliance Department Manager.
Technical service areas include: compliance audits, Tier II and Form R reporting, SPCC plans, storm water, air permits, stack testing, wastewater discharge permits, hazardous waste reports, health and safety, risk management plans, IH sampling, noise monitoring, regulatory interpretation, and enforcement negotiations.
Oversee professional-level technical and administrative support staff to achieve established objectives and deadlines: (Compliance) supervise the construction of engineering controls; prepare permit applications and plans; formulate recommendations for environmental compliance; audit facility operations; design and install various environmental systems (e.g., ventilation, storm water, industrial wastewater); develop and implement Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC), storm water plans, pollution prevention contingency (PPC) plans, lockout/tagout plans and any other plans required by environmental or health and safety regulations; and prepare and submit regulatory agency reports.
