Cyberlife Programmer Analyst

The Opportunity: In this role, you will work with other Cyberlife analysts and programmers to maintain and enhance their CyberlLfe environment. You will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the internals of CyberLife and understand time-driven processing inside and out so that you may provide recommendations and understand the impact of discrepancies on a large scale.
Requirements:
" Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning or equivalent work experience.
" 10+ years of experience working with the internals of CyberLife inforce processing, including policy accounting, loans, and time-driven processing.
" Knowledge of insurance administration processes and procedures.
" Uses concepts and abilities of an application developer to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
" Perform programming and analysis tasks without direction from others.
" Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation for the 24-hour support of the team's systems, and to act as the backup to the on-call team to address the most difficult problems that arise.
" Must have leadership skills sufficient to provide mentoring, direction, and motivation to other team members.
Essential Functions and Duties:
" Communicate fluently with the business representatives.
" Understand business requirements and be able to relate these to the supporting system requirements producing technical specifications for the work to be done.
" Code readable, reliable and maintainable programs necessary to support the team's assigned systems.
" Perform unit and system testing using test plans and scripts approved by the business.
" Review test results with the business and make necessary adjustments to the deliverable.
" Accurately record time and status to appropriate projects or support activity for billing.
" Respond promptly to production issues, including on-call responsibilities.
" Demonstrate the documented ITS values and behaviors.
This position is responsible for applying technical concepts and skills and knowledge of the company's internal policies and procedures to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. The programming tasks assigned are complex where significant initiative and independent judgment are required to search out the appropriate course of action within and outside the context of established goals and objectives.
