Forging company seeks NDT Level II for the day shift. Must be available to work over-time and weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Have the skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions. Be able to follow verbal work instruction of the responsible level III. Have the skills and knowledge to carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with approve work instructions. Have the skill and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard (ASTM-E-1417 & ASTM-E-1444) etc. Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as specified by CDF or Aerospace Prime. Capable of producing accurate technique sheets that meet the standards for which the inspection is being performed. • Have basic knowledge of the Forging Process of Manufacturing. • Passing all required Certification Requirements per NAS 410. • Obey all company safety rules and regulations. • Must be able to work overtime as needed and weekends when needed.

QUALIFICATION OR EXPERIENCE • 5 year minimum experience as a Magnetic Particle & Liquid Penetrant Level II Inspector. • High school Diploma, and able to Read, Write and comprehend the English language. • Have a minimum 32 classroom documented training hours from a known NDT Technical Training and Consultant agency in the methods of MT & PT. Be able to successfully pass the certification examination process per NAS 410 in the methods of Magnetic Particle & Liquid Penetrant Testing. Physically able to perform essential job functions. Must be willing to work overtime including weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES. Frequent: Handle, manual dexterity, lift 5-49 lbs., reach, stand, stoop, and walk. Use personal protective equipment. Occasional: Balance, climb, crawl, crouch, grasp, hear, kneel, and speak. Required: Close vision, color and depth perception.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS General warehouse environment. Background noise, dirt, oil, humidity, temperature variations. Work near moving mechanical parts.
