Grantham University is looking for driven, competent, and disciplined individuals who are passionate about helping people change their lives through higher education. In this role, you will qualify, assess motivation and follow up with students who are planning or changing professional careers. This is a work from home position that revolves around your ability manage yourself and a majority for your day will be spent speaking to potential students over the phone and using a computer. YOU MUST LIVE IN FLORIDA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
· Making outbound and taking inbound calls from individuals interested in enrolling at Grantham University. Individual inquiries will be focused on our degree (Associate, Bachelor or Master) programs. All customer contact is with "warm" leads.
· Determines admissibility, transferability of credit, and residency for all new and readmitted undergraduate students; provides input and recommendations in determining admissibility of "special consideration" cases.
· Counsels and advises students and families about educational opportunities, admission, transfer of credit, financial assistance, and university policies and requirements.
· Maintains communication via telephone, correspondence, and/or electronic mail with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment and admission process.
· Meeting and exceeding pre-established sales / enrollment objectives
· Utilizing relationship development and communication skills to build and manage a strong sales pipeline
· Advising individuals on educational alternatives based on their personal and professional interests
· Capturing relevant learner information on a variety of software systems and applications
· Developing an in-depth understanding of how to represent and sell degree programs.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
· Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
· Knowledge of programs/services available to university students.
· Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues
· Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
· Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
· Displayed success in a performance-driven sales environment which utilizes metrics and measurements
· Desire to work in a progressive but competitive environment, with a variable compensation plan based on sales achievement over a 6 month period
· Advanced understanding of consultative selling, uncovering buying decisions and understanding customer needs.
· Clear ability to multi-task and learn and leverage a variety of software applications.
