We are looking for a dedicated employee to fill a fast-paced and demanding position as a Chemical Handler. We are looking for a self motivated and detail oriented individual to become a part of our growing team. 

We have openings for first, second, and third shifts.

 

• Prepare set-up, weigh, package, fill and label dry and liquid chemicals in compliance with customer requirements and safety guidelines.
• Complete all assigned work orders, both hazardous and non-hazardous in nature, in the required standard time.
• Operate production scales, including verification and calibration.
• Set-up, operate, clean and maintain all equipment
• Complete required records and reports.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Use hand skid and counter balance as necessary to move and position equipment and materials; use care to lift and balance loads properly; operate equipment in a safe manner.

• Experience working in a technical field, with a preference for previous chemical handling

  Strong math and reading skills
• Familiarity with the metric system and decimals
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds

Preferences:

• Prior experience in preventative maintenance
• Prior experience handling/mixing/compounding chemicals
• Prior experience in a clean room environment
