·          Candidates should have at least 5 or more years of hands-on work experience including experience in a medium to large size business performing month end close duties.  
 

·          BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required 

 ·         Big 4 or National firm public accounting experience required
 

·          Experience in a corporate accounting setting utilizing best practices and sophisticated financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) a plus. 

 

·          Strong General Accounting skills and GAAP knowledge with experience in month end close through to financial statement preparation.
 

·          Proficiency in all MS Office applications, and advanced knowledge of Excel required. 
 

·          Must have the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under quarter close deadlines.  
 

·          Candidates must have excellent communication skills (oral and written), the ability to interact with all levels of management through the organization and the initiative to get the job done.  
 

·          Must be a dedicated, team player looking to succeed and grow with the company and Accounting department.  
 

·          Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision or direction.
