Leading credit issuer seeks AVP, Credit Card Acquisitions in Risk Management. Risk Management - Acquisitions is responsible for providing strategic direction and analysis in support of new credit card account acquisition.

Job Functions:

• Partners with the business to create and implement strategies to fulfill account acquisition goals.
• Utilizes MIS to monitor the risk performance and financial success of current acquisition strategies and to propose enhancements to existing processes.
• Initiates and evaluates ideas for marketable universe expansion and structures comprehensive testing plans.
• Sets protocols and coordinates dates with internal and external partners for enterprise-wide campaign management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance of all new account acquisition programs.
• Directs and mentors team members.
• Effectively communicates with senior management on all aspects of new account origination and performance.
• Manage credit loss for acquisition programs to meet pre-determined Asset Quality Standards resulting in the achievement of program profitability.
• Monitor on-going risk and predicted versus actual performance.
• Manage Credit Bureau criteria/production for on-going and future campaigns.
• Manage all software applications used to decision new applications including internal as well as third party vendors.

• Advanced degree in economics, business, statistics or related field.
• Five years industry experience in credit card analytics
• Five years experience in credit card acquisitions, risk and strategies
• Expertise in data analytics using SAS, SQL, VBA
