YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE •As an Ice Cream Mover/Warehouse associate, you will be responsible to manually stack product onto pallets, move pallets of finished product from production to frozen warehouse storage, pick route orders and maintain inventory. •Work safely and productively in a frozen environment. •Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in a Warehouse Setting. •Set up, maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain product, quality, and safety specifications; troubleshoot equipment as needed •Operate multiple forklift types as needed. •Transport and place full pallets of product into locations specified by the inventory management system. •Read and create bills of lading. •Load outbound orders onto truck trailers for shipping. •Load and operate stretch wrapping equipment. •Manually pick orders as defined by pick tickets for individual stores and or delivery routes. •Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company's Grooves and 'I Can Make a Difference' philosophies. •Perform other duties as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: •One year of forklift operation and general warehouse experience required. •High School diploma or GED required. •Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. •Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills. •Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules. •Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand; use hands to finger; handle objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and depending on the area assigned may regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. •Work Environment:In this position, the employee will regularly work with and around others; in a cold environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, and electrical, equipment. The work is moderately-paced. HOURS: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift hours available.
