Project Manager- Job Description


  • Provide design oversight for new and existing capital and expense project
  • Provide engineering and construction oversight
  • Schedule compliance & insure that the work is installed per industry codes and standards
  • Interface with client operations, maintenance personnel, vendors & construction contractors
  • Develop and maintain project milestone schedule
  • Ensure all material requisitions are issued to purchasing
  • Obtain design information, decisions and answers required to complete engineering designs
  • Monitor design departments to assure deliverables are issued for squad check, Client approval and construction per the schedule
  • Identify project scope changes and issue deviation reports
  • Prepare and update action lists in a timely manner
  • Approve specifications, drawings and final reports
  • Prepare monthly progress report
  • Chair the recurring project meetings
  • Be responsible for technical content and interfaces for scopes of work
  • Coordinate the assembly of project data books

 Requirements

Requirements:

  • All candidates must have 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering and construction.
  • Experience in a plant environment, 5+ years experience in monitoring $1MM+ construction / engineering projects
  • Ability to interface with construction superintendents, site managers, and corporate office project controls.
