Keane Group is one of the most cost effective ’top-holer’ (vertical well driller) in the entire region averaging an amazing YOY 200+ feet per hour average drill rate.  Keane Group provides well stimulation services to Marcellus E&P developers.  The Marcellus 35,000HP frac spreads include, Quintuplex frac pumps, blenders, conveyors, mountain movers, heavy iron and state of the art data monitoring and control equipment. 


 

BLENDER OPERATOR / FRAC EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

 

Operate and clean Blender, milling and screening equipment following of all instructions to ensure accuracy of ingredients and to obtain a consistent bled.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Keane
  • Ability to learn the disciplines of driving and rigging up equipment on location. 
  • Ability to proficiently operate auxiliary equipment; stake bed, acid transport and sand truck.
  • Ability to proficiently operate Frac Pump, Acid Pump, Line Truck, and Sand Delivery System.
  • Ability to learn to operate Nitrogen Pump, Blender, and Hydration Unit.
  • Ability to maintain condition of treating iron.
  • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • One (1) or more years of experience in industry or a related field
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend the efforts of others
  • Ability to think and act quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to proficiently operate Blender
  • Some mechanical ability helpful
  • Frequent Climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain)

  • Ability to frequently lift (70 pounds)

  • Frequent bending, twisting and standing

  • Desire to working outdoors in all-weather conditions: (hot, cold, dust, dirt, noise, and gas fumes)

  • Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week

 

Required

  • Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health Requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
  • Must have a telephone or pager and the ability to be on 24 hour call.
  • Ability to work a rotational schedule (usually either 21 days on / 7 days off, or 14 days on / 7 days off)


Preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years Fracturing/ Stimulation experience in service company or oilfield operating company.
  • Valid Commercial Operator's license or the ability to obtain one.
