Controller
Purpose: Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
Job Duties:
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for 10 entities (3 SNF’s, 1 Outpatient Rehab Clinic, In-house Therapy Company and very simple Land & Building entities).
• Supervise AP & Payroll staff of three
• Maintain & oversee corporate profit sharing plan, including bi-monthly payroll transactions, company match, employee loans, annual audit, and 5500 reporting
• Liason between company and outside accountants/auditors
• Work closely with outside accountants to prepare annual cost reports, gathering and supplying information to complete the reports
• Work with accountants to supply requested information and support for cost report audits
• Work closely with auditors to prepare annual corporate review and audits, gathering and supplying information needed
• Oversee billing and collection efforts of facility business office personnel
• Liason between company and software vendors - Point Click Care, Quickbooks, Paycom, Compulink
• Annual property tax filing
• Annual US Census filing
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Work with CEO and finance companies on various financing projects
• Ongoing communication between business office personnel, facility administrators, CEO, and COO regarding billing and collections
• Maintain fixed asset lists and replacement reserve requests
• Maintain monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Maintain corporate shared computer directory
• Prepare reports and analyses as requested
