Description:
The Stationary Engineer is responsible for the appropriate operation and maintenance of all physical plant equipment. S/he starts, stops, adjusts, tests, and regulates equipment in accordance with current industry standards and hospital policies and procedures. The Stationary Engineer records information on appropriate record forms and logs.
EOE “A Tradition of Caring" since 1904.
High school diploma or GED
City of Chicago Operating Engineer license
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Stationary Engineer.
Hospital experience is a plus.
Experience in pumps, DDC controls, HVAC, absorption chillers.
Qualified candidates must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within their field.
