Occupational Therapist / OT / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Premier Medical Services Inc. is looking for multiple Occupational Therapists and COTAs for long-term care facilities located in the Des Plaines/Glenview area.

We have been working with healthcare professionals to help find permanent positions in Healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area for the past several years. Great pay and excellent benefits!

The Occupational Therapist's responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Improve patient's basic motor functions and reasoning abilities.

- Help increase quality of life and overall daily functioning by establishing both short-term and long-term goals, which are attainable and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis.

- Perform various assessments and evaluations for each particular resident in which a direct plan of care can be implemented for a specific period of time.

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will:

- Assist with patient evaluation and play a key role to helping to maximize independence and increase quality of life.

- Be involved with developing treatment plans, adjusting goals and discharge planning.

- Provide direct patient care and have the ability to consult with members of a multidisciplinary team, while the resident in undergoing rehabilitation.
