Our client, a major brokerage firm located in downtown Manhattan is looking for a Datawarehousing Specialist

DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will report to Project Manager and participate in the design and implementation of the data warehouse. Additional responsibilities include: - Participate and assist in data model design process - Participate in entire SDLC process - Understand the business requirement and functional spec and translate to technical solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* At least 5 years of experience responsible for enterprise data warehouse. Experience working in a reporting group for a large financial firm.
 
* 5 years experience in OLAP architecture design, multi dimensional data modeling, data mart design, data security, ETL processes and process modeling.

* Completed at least 1 data warehouse development with SQL 2005 including ETL (SSIS) and OLAP design (SSAS)
               
* At lease 2 projects of dimension modeling experience

* Strong in relational database design, fluent in both MDX and T-SQL development

*  Expertise in T-SQL stored procedure programming with MS-SQL Server

          
MAJOR PLUS IF THE CANDIDATE HAS EXPERIENCE ON THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
* Oracle Hyperion EssBase
* Financial / MIS reporting experience
* SSRS / Business Object Crystal XI
* MDM (Master Data Management) experience. Ex. Hyperion DRM, Microsoft Stratature +EDM.
* .NET development experience
