Job Description

TITLE:                                  Oracle Application Developer

REPORTS TO:                     Director Programming Services

LOCATION:                         Oxnard, CA

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Oracle Application Developer will work closely with the Oracle Analyst, Assurance teams, Infrastructure teams, and business owners, to deliver applications and ensure all product enhancements meet the business requirements/needs and are delivered on time with the highest degree of quality. The Application Developer may be asked to lead the development team in providing comprehensive support for existing and new applications, and will provide leadership and expertise regarding methods, standards, and technical considerations for software applications. This position will be part of a team which may be comprised of developers, consultants, and business analysts. The Oracle Application Developer will be headquartered in Oxnard, CA, and will report to Director Programming Services.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Setup and customized an Oracle Workflow definitions
  • Prepare Md070 Documents and designing the process
  • Setup Payroll Cost Allocation and General Ledger Accounting Key Flex fields, Value Sets, Segment Values, etc.
  • Implemented Customization and provided technical support
  • Ad hoc reporting and custom HR, Benefits and Compensation Workbench reporting.
  • Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, review business process, configure modules, develop workflows and interfaces, and leverage best practices.
  • Worked in Oracle development tools like
    • PL/SQL,SQL, Developer Suite(Oracle  Forms and Reports)
    • Discoverer development and administration
    • Oracle Workflow Builder
    • Fast Formulas
    • Tools like Data loader  or ETL tools
  • Responsible for Oracle Development team and designing the Architecture 
  • Lead the development effort
  • Manage offshore development team
  • Support Oracle Application development and upgrades
  • Closely collaborate with Analyst and business
  • Deliver the solution on time. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Oracle Application Development 
  • Extensive knowledge in Designing, Setting-up, Configuration, Customizing, Integrating and Implementing Oracle ERP Applications including Oracle Payroll ,Oracle Human Resources, Oracle Self Service Human Resources and  Oracle Advanced Benefits And knowledge of Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), HRMS Cost Allocation, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Procure-to-Pay is a Plus
  • Knowledge of Data Mapping and Standard API’s and Data Migration stored procedures. 
  • Understanding of the Security profiles in the Oracle HRMS modules
  • Experience in technical documentation and actual PL/SQL procedures.
  • Significant experience in e-Business suite  development and integration with other software environment preferred
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding stewardship and relationship building/management skills to expand the mission of Reiter Affiliated Companies
  • Knowledge and experience in latest release R12 is required
  • Global cultural orientation and working experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
  • Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus
  • Proficient using  standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery
  • Very high level of organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
  • Must demonstrate outstanding judgment and mature business skills with the ability to establish a strong rapport with senior management
  • Excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel will be approximately 20 percent of the time
