Job Requirements

IT Operations Specialist –Sunnyvale, CA – 6 Mo +/- Contract

Required:

2-5 + IT Operations experience
Associates degree or equivalent experience
Microsoft software and operating systems experience and Windows Environment exp. Must be strong

Desired:

Microsoft certification preferred, but not required
BSCS a plus

Job Description:

Day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal client systems software and hardware
Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems, workstations, servers, telephony and network equipment in a heterogeneous environment
Take a proactive approach to computer/network performance issue
Recommend and assist with the procurement of hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions upgrades
Participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects
Document and track IT assets, services and infrastructure matters
Perform the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of client computers and related systems
Monitor help desk queues and resolve trouble tickets as required
Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems as they relate to client computers and related systems
May also assist with troubleshooting the overall IT infrastructure and performing of administrative and maintenance activities on network equipment, servers, and other back office systems
