Pharmaceutical R & D Associate

Company Profile: A Nutraceutical company located in Northern Los Angeles specializes in the formulation and distribution of nutritional supplements and is actively seeking a Research and Development Chemist.

Position Summary:

• Assist in reviewing and maintaining documentation associated with manufacturing and vendor qualifications
• Coordinated and supports the development of the finished product stability program
• Assists in maintaining the R&D Database
• Represents R&D by offering technical assistance to multiple groups within the company, including quality control, production and quality assurance.
• Remains current with regulations, research and current events in regard to product labels, product claims, allergens and nutritional values and material issues

 

A candidate must posses the following requirements to be considered for the role

• 4 year Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry Discipline (required)
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, self-directing, and excellent time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (required)
• 2+ years experience with Pharmaceuticals or Dietary Supplements (required)
• Knowledge of cGMP, Batch Master, SharePoint computer skills (desired)
