Job Description

The Corridor Group's talent solutions team is recruiting for a Home Health Clinical Team Manager  for our client, an agency in the Kansas City area.


Duties:

The Team Manager has 24 hour responsibility for the leadership and management of their designated service area; ensuring excellence in service and quality of care.  The Team Manager reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

           People Management:

 

  1. Screens applicants, conducts interviews, and makes hiring decisions in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
  2. Evaluates employee performance to determine developmental needs, establishes goals, and provides opportunities for staff/professional development.

 

          Quality Management:

1.    Identifies and initiates performance and quality improvement activities.

2    Monitors care delivery to ensure compliance with regulations and optimal outcomes.
 

Customer Management:                   

 

  1. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and attitudes that support the compnay's mission
  2. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and health care professionals.
  3. Develops and implements action plans to achieve growth and excellence in customer service.

 

Financial Management:

 

  1. Identifies resources necessary to enhance quality of life for patients and families
  2. Manages resource utilization to ensure that performance to budget is achieved
  3. Participates in cost saving initiatives that support the overall well being of the organization 

 

 


Job Requirements


Knowledge and skills required

 

1.         RN (BSN preferred) from an accredited institution or BSW (MSW or Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.)  Must be licensed in both Kansas and Missouri.

2.         Two years experience in caring for terminal patients and others with life threatening illnesses.

3.         Motivated to work with the dying and bereaved.

4.         Able and willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

5.         Commitment to quality and excellence in service.

6.         Flexible

7.         Good administrative skills and experience in supervision, management and coordination of the work of others.

8.         Strong organization and communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

9.         Licensed driver with reliable transportation and auto insurance
