SALES CONSULTANT

Autoland is the largest Credit Union automobile buying service in the nation.  Since our founding in 1971, Autoland has grown to more than 45 locations throughout the West Coast and has delivered over 5000 vehicles annually to Credit Union members, making the vehicle purchasing process exciting and stress free.  We are currently searching for a Credit Union Sales Consultant to join our team.

Autoland is headquartered in Chatsworth, CA – Sales positions are currently available in San Luis Obispo.

The ideal candidate should have an impressive and extensive background in business sales. They will also exhibit a strong entrepreneurial attitude towards both their Credit Unions and purchasing clients, while being fully supported by Autoland, Inc. 

Primary duties:

• Identify members’ wants and needs to fully understand the person and their desired vehicle.
• Lead the process through to delivery by aligning all details including vehicle location, trade in, registration, financing, delivery and follow up.
• Offer exceptional customer service to clients while explaining aftermarket products that supplement their automotive investment and increase profitability.
• Maintain current knowledge of all finance and lease programs.
• Maximize lead flow by raising awareness among Credit Union employees at the branch level.
• Manage personal lead flow, referral base, follow-up process, and sales forecasting while successfully meeting and/or exceeding required monthly requirements.
• Consult with his/her assigned Credit Union(s) and serve its members’ auto-buying needs from start to finish. 

Requirements:

• Possess two or more years of experience with a proven track record of success in a sales oriented environment on a commission driven compensation plan. 
• Work effectively with a sense of urgency, handling a variety of projects simultaneously with the opportunity to problem solve on a daily basis.
• Travel locally to assigned territory.
• Interview by SKYPE will be required.
• Tech savvy skills are a MUST. 
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
